We interpret the world around us according to the language we speak. Often, the cultural differences that separate people are rooted in a lack of thorough understanding of how reality looks from a place different from our own. Bringing these worlds closer together and facilitating intercultural understanding between people is SFA's goal.
We have put much thought into the specific needs of the American public, which is why from the very first lesson, you will be able to incorporate Latin American Spanish. Both the vocabulary and the pronouns and structures you will learn are of common and current use. In addition, we use English examples and equivalents at all levels, so that you can start using Spanish quickly and without extensive explanations
Born in Uruguay, my native language is Rioplatense Spanish. I have a degree in Spanish and Literature and more than 15 years experience of teaching teens and adults. As an adult student of English myself, I know firsthand the difficulties and challenges involved in incorporating a new language at this stage of life.
Through Spanish Fluency Academy, I have built a project that seeks to bring cultures together by combining both aspects: the teacher and the student.
